Recipes from my kitchen: Strawberry dessert in a glass
I want to share with you a tasty recipe with strawberries and vanilla cream. I have fresh homemade strawberries. They are the sweetest and most delicius. So, my dessert is in the glass, look, try and enjoy!
Strawberry dessert in a glass
Ingredients:
- 140 g cookies crumbs
- 70 ml melted butter
- 5 egg yolks
- 3 spoons of a sugar
- 1 spoon flour
- 200 ml of a milk
- 1 vanilla sugar
- 50 g butter
- 200 g fresh strawberries
Directions:
Step 1: Combine the cookie crumbs with the melted butter and press the mixture into the shot glasses.
Step 2: In a bowl mix egg yolks, sugar, flour and 1/3 milk.
Step 3: In large saucepan cook 2/3 milk over medium-low heat and stirring constantly, pouring mixture into the milk, whisking continuously. Cream will look very thin and frothy, but it will start to thicken after a few minutes. When it has thickened to a pudding-like consistency, pause whisking every few seconds to see if the cream has come to a boil. If you see large bubbles popping on the surface, whisk for a few more seconds and then remove the pan from heat. Leave to chill.
Step 4: In chilled cream add 50 g butter and mix.
Step 5: On the mixture into the shot glassed add a little of cream and strawberries along the edge of the glass, then the remaining cream, cookie crumbs and strawberries.
My recipe in of the food magazine in May 2017.
Serve cold and enjoy!
Good apetit!
