Red Velvet
INGREDIENTS
one box red velvet cake mix
two large eggs
half c. butter
one tsp. pure vanilla extract
quarter tsp. kosher salt
one gal. vanilla ice cream, softened
DIRECTIONS
In a large sized bowl, blend cake mix, eggs, butter, vanilla, and salt. Stir till evenly mixed.
Spread the batter into the prepared baking sheet and bake till set, fifteen to twenty minutes.
Allow to cool in pan completely, then slice the sheet cake in half crosswise to make two large rectangles.
Spread vanilla ice cream onto one half, then put the second half on top to form one large ice cream sandwich.
Freeze till the ice cream is firm, about two hours, then slice into squares. Offer.
