Chocolate Brownies with Walnuts: The Perfect Dessert for Chocolate Lovers
Who can resist a good brownie? This recipe for chocolate brownies with walnuts is the perfect mix between a dense and fudgy cake with a crunchy touch thanks to the walnuts. They are ideal to accompany a glass of milk, or to share with friends and family on an afternoon coffee. Plus, it's a simple recipe that won't take you more than 30 minutes.
Ingredients:
- 200g semisweet chocolate
- 100g butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and lightly grease a 20x20 cm square mold.
- Melt the chocolate and butter together in a microwave-safe bowl or in a double boiler, stirring occasionally.
- Add the sugar to the melted chocolate mixture and stir well. Next, add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Add the vanilla, flour and salt, and mix until you have a smooth dough. If you prefer, add the chopped walnuts in this step.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with some crumbs stuck to it (it's important not to overbake them so they become fudgy).
- Let cool in the mold, cut into portions and enjoy.
