MADRID - Real Madrid managed to ensure themselves step into the final round of the Champions League 2017-2018 after holding Bayern Munich draw with the score 2-2 in the second leg semi-final match held Wednesday (2/5/2018). According to Bayern coach, Jupp Heynckes, Madrid's victory was created thanks to the outstanding contribution provided by the goalkeeper, Keylor Navas.
Heynckes assessed the game is slick showing Navas throughout the game. Through a brilliant action, the Bayern players were difficult to re-break the goalkeeper Los Madridos-nickname Madrid-because it is so tightly guarded by Navas.
31-year-old goalkeeper was also considered to have done a lot of rescue so that Madrid conceded only two goals. Bayern's two goals in the game were scored by Joshua Kimmich (3 ') and Jamez Rodriguez (63').
Therefore, Heynckes insists Madrid should thank Navas. Without him, the German passports coach was convinced Madrid would not qualify for the finals. Therefore, the Bayern players look so slick in the game II leg held at the Santiago Bernabeu.

"We managed to dominate the game, but Madrid can dispel our attack. I think they should thank Navas for his spectacular performances, especially towards the end of the game, "he continued.
"Thanks to the role of Navas we were hard to take chances, after a brilliant first half we had to get into trouble in the last game but my morale spirit was very high throughout the game, we played very well and smoothly," Heynckes said.
As a result of Navas brilliant action, Bayern should bury his dream of appearing in the Champions League final this season.
