Review of The Drama and Sports Movie | Creed 2

Everything is bigger in Warner Bros. New Point Break: Better bets, bigger lessons and better action. But with all this, Ericson Core's remake was supposed to expand the world of Kathryn Bigelow's original 1991 film of the same name, but it lacks the spirit and charm that made the original Point Break popular and popular.

Luke Bracey plays the role of Johnny Utah, a motorcycle rider and a YouTube star who gives up his life on a motorcycle to become a federal agent after a tragic event. In an attempt to prove to himself and convince his boss that he is committed to the FBI, Utah tries to seize the opportunity when he sees a link between some extreme sports-minded environmental terrorists and Zen's popular ideology in extreme sports.

Turning point

Utah understands that the burglary of environmental terrorists coincides with the Ozaki 8 Challenge, in which the person completing all tests will seem to be able to reach Nirvana. This concept of eight adversities is the focus of Point Break, although the film does not harmonize with it. Ultimately, it is an excuse to make great risk moves around the world, and it is also an excuse to go along with Bodhi and Utah in the original film.

Federal police intervene

The FBI gives Utah a chance to test his theory, and decides that the next place for terrorists will be when a massive sea wave occurs on the coast of France. Despite being a motorcycle professional, Utah enters the water without any preparation (all he does is explain to Angelo Pappas, whose role is played by actor Ray Winstone that he has already surfed)

And for some reason he is a professional in all extreme sports that he experiences, and draws the attention and respect of Bodhi (played by Edgar Ramirez). At this point, Point Break starts out of range, as Utah travels around the world with Bodhi and his gang to enter them as they perform various tests in stunning vistas.

Some flaws in the story

Point Break spends so long trying to convince viewers of the global dangers in it that the personal relationship between Bodhi and Utah lacks the emotional weight you need. The film focuses too much on action scenes which I admit are fantastic

But at the expense of the evolution of the characters in it, making the choices of the central characters seem sudden and sometimes unexpected. Even the final scene in the film is so exaggerated compared to the original film that it seems so clear how far away from the spirit that made the original Point Break film distinct.

Conclusion

Point Break was unable to capture the spirit of what made the original film so special and loved, preferring to present a series of dangerous sports scenes linked by a myth that may be absurd and exaggerated. Edgar Ramirez performs best among the other actors in the film as Bodhi, but lacks harmony between him and Luke Bracey. Ultimately, Point Break will disappoint fans of the original film and offer new viewers no more than a round of suspense.
