RE: Is Harry Potter A Classic Children's Literature?

in #read6 years ago

I don’t watch the movie and I read only the first part of Harry Potter when I read it for my children .. literature are great or not by its influence .. Harry Potter yes it has much influence ..
sorry , I understand that Dante and Shakespeare are classic , but we can’t compre these books ...every book for its time . It is normal .. I really don’t think that many children read Dante because they like his book much and not because they are forced at school )))
By the way what diffrent from which story my child will learn that to be fair and brave is better that to be lier and weak .. form Harry Potter or from Don Kishot ?

You're totally right! Harry Potter has all those learning! Is a very productive reading for our children :). And like you said, the most important part is to have a book that has an interesting story for them, they don't need the classics at that age. Any book that can help to create the reading habit is welcome, and if it has a lot of life learnings as Harry Potter is also better :). We have to encourage them to read for pleasure and not because they're being forced at school, and the Harry Potter series can be a way for it.
