Twas a hairy old rat, is what it really was,
tryin' to act like he was old Santy Claus.
He was looking for cheese, I'm certain of that
I wondered out loud, 'Now where is that cat?'
But the cat was eating something in the fancy pear tree
the partridge no doubt, so there'd be none for me.

We had a setback, stupid NY inspection laws, couldn't make it down to SC. I'm becoming a resident of South Dakota- it's awesome, they do it for those who are full time RVers or travelers, and as long as you don't own a home you qualify. You don't even have to change your driver's license to register a car there once you establish a mailbox, and there's no inspection.
What are you up to? There's a bunch of unofficial steemmonster tournaments going on, low level to high, including one on Monday at 11 am, 10 your time, where bernie has put 2500 steem into the pool for prizes.
Also, do you know how to play Texas hold'em? I met a great group of people who meet every night at nine pm (8 for you) to play on the Nolimitspoker site based on the NLC2 coin- you get twenty of them free for signing up, and it's 5 to play the tourney, prizes are always a Gold foil card and generally some more NLC2 tokens. You just make an account here: https://play.nolimitcoinpoker.com/ Then once you're in click on tournaments and scroll until you find the one that says steemmonster tournament and register. When it starts it should automatically take you to the table. On nights where you're not doing anything, jump on discord and I'll get you to the right place :)
I remember a lot of the guys on the construction crews in NYC had Florida plates on their cars, they said it was because the insurance was lots less, but there were probably lots of other reasons for it too.
I still haven't played any monster games for some reason, even though I have a bunch of cards. It was a fit of FOMO that got me started on them, now I never know if I should try to sell them, or if I should have sold them already, so I hodl. I had more fun opening the packs than was healthy probably, so I backed off the cards cold turkey, and kinda forgot about monster games for a while. Poker! I have a few gambling stories, but they all end with me not being very good at it. ;) I guess I try to save all of my luck for emergencies, and if even once I were to have any luck with gambling, I would suddenly be in a lot of trouble. I know myself too well to start! So now that I've been a complete party-pooper, I must add that I'm glad you're having fun with the monster games! You must be a master warrior by now?
I'm not a gambler, truly, the nlc2 coins are a penny each if you were going to by them, which makes that 5 coin buy in a nickel, haha! Though I hear you on the luck. That's why I would never put any real money into poker, far too much luck required. Steem monsters on the other hand is truly a skill based game, luck doesn't come into it other than of course with the packs- but I don't buy packs anymore, I buy individual cards directly from the peakmonster site to level up, and when you do your daily quests you get free cards :) I'm not too bad, not the best, but I did make it to fifty on the leaderboard last season :)

I'm glad the liquid did what it did, I missed your last couple of posts, but I've been slacking lately here a little. I'm happy to see you around, liquid and all.
I haven't been around much. Got sick, then holidays, now drunk. I hope to come back, eventually, and sober, someday. I think I've been drunk, here, less times than I can count with the help of fingers. I thought about publishing a drunken post, but then I got more drunk.
I'm glad you're well, or not sick now. I'd like to try some drunk writing, but I would want to review it later before I hit 'post' I think! It would have to be written offline somehow, pending my more sober approval.
I lack the (insert big word here) to be able to do that. Drink, type, hit post... shake head and wonder why the next day. That's how I do it, or maybe it's the drink doing it. Something does it. I'm good at not doing anything except drinking more, when I drink. That helps and I never have to worry about reading what I write, the next day, because it wasn't written. I should drink and post more though. All but one of my drunken posts was decent. The bad one was just me bitching about something and I still regret that post to this day. Oh well. I used to drink like a fish. Daily. When I drink now, I actually get a buzz. The drinks before were just there, because it was what I did. That's how I learned about throwing dishes out the window instead of doing dishes. I'm glad those days are over but sometimes, I miss the smashing noises.
