Money and the Elbow Shoestrings of Randomidity

in #randomness7 years ago

My socio-political statement, said in a soft tone: Having lots of money is not the main ingredient of morality, being a hard worker, having worth, or merit. Poor people shouldn't be looked at as immoral by default. Poor is the common denominator we all share. We all can be poor, but not all of us are going to be rich....most of us won't be rich.

I tend to have anxiety, depression, and both together at the same time.
I feel smart at times, but my mental illness(es) trick my brain into saying negative things that discount my worth, etc.

Keeping it simple, Zen Buddhism and the like....probably saved my life.

I say this with a soft and delicate tone: I don't care if I get money from this blog. It is more important that we graze eachother's consciousness to bring us closer to the Real, closer to the Truth, and to a place of healing from illusions/misperceptions. We're winging it and calling it a life, plain and simple.

Some will find something useful in my posts, which is great. Some won't, and that's ok too.

It is easy finding contradictions in peoples' actions & ideals. We tend to make a nice game out of it, but in Reality a person is a bundle of code and each thought is its own string of code, with no real relationship with the other thoughts or "strings of code".

Everything just is....
We are all One, but I'm still going to periodically vent about the bugs in our(mankind's) coding as the noosphere/consciousness, while adding some humor hopefully (but just not much humor in this post). :D

I might be better at posting / formatting /jazzing things up next time.

I love hearing you think, brother. So happy you're here. If Facebook keeps you in its grasp I will be bitter. I agree with all you said up there... as you already know. Thanks for being here with me. Can't wait to read your future posts! :)

Thank you my sister from another......mother. :D You are an angle.....I mean, angel. :) I will try to be more focused and being more social/interactive on here (and elsewhere), but it'll be hit and miss type stuff while I'm digging around for employment in our wage-slave flea market casino plantation of distracting gadgets and empty promises of .....a promised land.....or something. It is almost OATMEAL THIRTY....but i need another cup of coffee first. :D

Ha ha.. I love it when you say Oatmeal Thirty. That could seriously be a daily morning blog. ♥

daily morning blog sounds neat :D

@paintingangels led me here, first of all welcome to Steemit or back to Steemit... I also found it so overwhelming to start, my advice is forget about the numbers, share your thoughts, think about this as page you're writing that will "stay". Hopefully people will tune to your thoughts and you might be surprises you may find friends. About being rich... I was very poor when young (still struggling but not like those days). I suffered poverty shaming as a child... it really marked me and changed my relationship with money, money scares me which is something that is not good either. All the best, best wishes, looking forward that "humor" too

Thank you for the reply & suggestions. :) I'm looking forward to this journey. It's good to meet you.

When my daughter was turning 18 we were on the big island of Hawaii. I was trying to help her with this idea. Just be. Somehow it's easier to just be in Hawaii than it is in other places. Once yoi can. just be, then poverty or wealth, sickness or health you focus on the being.

Thanks to @paintingangels for the heads up about this post.

Thanks for the shout! :) That's so true. Ram Dass (Be Here Now) lives in Hawaii somewhere, but he's been in bad health for a while from my understanding

Perfectly written short post there brother... I can see why Serena calls you a good friend. I share many of the concerns you have when it comes to matters of "how to move forward" so I'm sure to find lots of value in the words you will share on your blog.

This "game" if i can call it that works in the same way that many others do... consistency is key and if we can keep ourselves motivated enough to not lose focus most of the time (its impossible to be perfect) the fruits will begin to hang from the trees.

In any case... our family is there, if you need help, guidance.. tutorials.. we are but clicks away.

Cheers

Thank you for having me. I'm in between jobs, down and out, and in that weird warped sense of time that Viktor Frankl talked about with the laid-off miners. My antidepressant has its pro....but has several cons. I'm looking forward to being more focused soonishly to be more talkative/social. The "focused" part is my problem these days, along with lack of energy. I appreciate your warm welcome here and elsewhere for sure!! :)

Steemit is a good platform to broadcast your voice and ideas. It takes a while to connect with your community... stick with it! Welcome!

Thanks for the shout out! I'm bananas, so you might get some inspiration here. :D

Interesting. I initially came here to find an opportunity to share and perhaps get some rewards for my work but the community I've found here has taken over as my main motivation.

It's good to meet you. :) Thank you for the shout out.
