The times are changing
Yesterday I came across an older post from me.
It was a meme I posted via dmania and it got upvoted from the dmania bot.
The payout was around 140$ and there were about 60 comments.
Today I am happy if I get 10 comments and go above 10$.
Nevertheless I am still here posting my nonsense pretty regular.
The quantity of the comments maybe going down but therefore the quality rose a lot.
There is barely any spam.
But with the price going up the last month or so I ve noticed that the comments get a bit more spammy as well.
Is this maybe the start of the crypto spring we have all been waiting for?
Will we see such a crazy time in which memes made 100+$ posts?
On the hand it would be nice, as that meant a drastic rise in Steems price or a sudden intrest switch of the whales in memes on the other hand I think we are moving away from blogging more with every new dapp released.
We shall see where and if we still be in 5 years

Every now and then I still get upvotes from some of my "sleeping" followers. I'm almost sure that if Steemprices rises further, a lot of (those) accounts/followers will wake up and gonna start posting/commenting again.
I am pretty sure they will be back when we reach 1$ again.

Agree. Not to speak about 2$ or higher; which not only might lead to sleepers waking up, but will also trigger investors as well as a "tsunami" of new accounts.

$6 steem was some heady days. I think the enthusiasm is returning to crypto a bit... Maybe the 1 picture spammers will return someday.
