Rainbow Six Siege Steel Wave latest release date, update news from PS4 and Xbox June
It sounds like the update to Rainbow Six Siege SteelWave is releasing on all platforms this week. As much has been suggested by a new Twitter post from Ubisoft although no set release date has yet been shared. Operation Steel Wave promises to be Ubisoft's next ambitious update to its long-running team shooter. Many details regarding the extension has been shared, including the confirmation about the two new operators moving into the game who will feature specific capabilities.
Ubisoft has already announced a new map rework, along with new tools to help keep the meta fresh in the months to come.
Having spoken about these latest developments, Ubisoft announced in a recent Twitter post that Operation Steel Wave is heading to all platforms early.
"How are you going to break into this new and improved House? Project Steel Wave will shortly begin, "Ubisoft reported on Saturday 13 June.
More details about the forthcoming expansion may be communicated today (June 13) or later this week during the Computer Gaming Series.
We already know that the next Operators to connect to the R6 roster would be Ace and Melusi. They'll be exclusive to all gamers who first downloaded the new R6 Key, with exclusivity typically lasting about a week.
A Ubisoft note covering the latest managers and the House transition explains: "Prepare for the inevitable, as Operation Steel Wave is full of news!
"Fresh operators appear, with devices that will certainly alter the rhythm of every match they take part in. A new NIGHTHAVEN recruit, Ace, swoops in to join the Attackers, while in Melusi, an Inkaba Task Force ranger, the Defenders are gaining a new team mate.
Looking at previous changes to materials, we 'd anticipate the latest Rainbow Six Siege Activity to arrive June 16 , 2020 week.
But in the days ahead, fans will need to keep an eye on the Rainbow Six Siege social media channels, as the current world situation has already resulted in delays.
"The first item to be debated is the size of the house itself. With this rework, we have not only made some of the existing areas bigger, but also added a completely new section on the South side, with two rooms on each floor and a staircase to connect them.
"With this new space, there will be more space for everyone to move and breathe, but we have also been able to add a new Bomb site in the TV Room and Music Room.
"Many other areas have changed but special attention needs to be paid to three. Firstly, Garage has been refurbished, with only one of its doors being demolished and installing a new barricade to provide a specific entry alternative, thus rendering a Defuser plant harder.
More details regarding the forthcoming Rainbow Six Siege update is anticipated from Ubisoft to be revealed on its official social media in the coming days.
