News Bulletin For My Valentine New Album Confirmed “Gravity”
It seems that Bullet For My Valentine has this album ready for some months. A few days ago I release this new Lyric Video from its promotional single Over It song belonging to Gravity After two years we have new material from the guys from Wales.
At the moment they are for a tour in USA by all the East coast and for June they will make a tour by Europe, what gives us to understand that the album is more than ready however in the busy schedule of Bullet For My Valentine there is a gap for the month of July which, we assume, used to promote his album in Europe and the United States.
This collaboration brought back thoughts of Five Finger Death Punch with a little Linkin Park. I believe @gamersnews has found an extraordinary album here. If you like alternative rock with a hint of industrial rock, then this album is for you!

Guitar Tutorial- Useful Lick- Descending Pentatonic Run
So, today I have you a particular lick , this is very inspired by one of my favorite guitarists of all time Eric Johnson , his melodic runs are always a joy for me to hear and his heavy use of the pentatonic scale to create non-conventional melodies are always a matter of study for me
It's time for a steemit guitar lesson with @pechichemena. You haven't had one yet? Well, head on over and see some great video tutorials. He breaks it down for you so it's easy to follow along.

Modular Across America! Ep 02: Baltimore, MD- Live Pop Up Synth Acid
Last night I found myself at the Metro Gallery, in a particularly rad part of town. Unfazed by my lack of the hundreds of feet of extension cords I'd need to shoot outside, I instead elected to shoot inside, facing a colorful mural and firmly in the way of anybody trying to get to the restroom. I wanted some random passerbys, and I was richly rewarded. You might also notice our entire merch setup vaguely in the background. Viva commerce.
If you close your eyes as this track is playing, you can almost imagine this being the background music for a nightclub and police detectives are attempting to talk to witnesses of a crime; or even trying to interview people. It has that movie or TV show ambiance to it.

Lou Patty- EP Review
Dutch band, Lou Patty releases their 3rd EP and after some research of their first two, it’s quite a departure. Melodies are replacing hip-hop style vocals, poetically-infused lyrics abound, compelling chord changes and stellar production value make this release border on heavy progressive/art rock rather than the former
Oh, this soundtrack takes me back- what a great EP to add to your collection! As @ftlob says in his description; this is a combination of a young Lenny Kravitz with a little Soundgarden mixed in for good measure.

Rhetoric And Rhetorical Figures In Music From The 17th Century- Part 2
Most of its history was European music especially vocal music. Musicians were traditionally under the influence of rhetorical principles during the production of texts. Poets were at the same time also singers who wrote or improvised melodies for their texts themselves and accompanied themselves on voices, lira's, lutes or harps during the presentation. In the Renaissance, arrangements and adaptations of vocal music were the largest part of recorded music for instruments
@musicapoetica gives us all a history lesson about how music evolved. Stop over to read about it in this post.
Figures are not melodies by themselves. This is because figurines arise when filling intervals through intermediate tones that do not belong to the harmony (or chord) in question (transitus). All figures can be explained by the harmony.

Steemauto Curation Trail
We suggest not following the trail with 100%, steemauto has 2 ways of following a trail, static or scaled. We suggest using SCALED instead of static since static votes can add up quickly and drain VP very fast. We suggest using scaled and then maybe around 25%.
Steemauto can show us who is currently on the trail and at what percentage. Looking forward to see more Qurites joining the trail in the near future! We also reward the team players and there might be a nice surprize for a lucky trailer. =P

The new weights for @qurator-tier-1-2 are likely to change since we are not 100% sure how many Tier 1 and Tier 2 members post. We need to see some new averages to find a new balance.
Update: Seems like the VP is holding steady for @qurator-tier-1-2. It is weekend though and we know people post less over the weekend. Will keep it at 2 and 4 percent for now.

This is real good news for me. I am really grateful for picking up my first attempt in drawing.
It was pretty funny to see the little Qurator Character. Step by step original drawing and we loved it! =) Thanks a lot. =)
Sir i wanna know about your project please brief me

I am very much glad. With time I hope to improve.
Hey @qurator team!! Maximally legitimate thanks for highlighting my modular synth video in the Daily Qurator! Ya’ll have made a huge difference in helping me build a following on here and I’m proud to be a tier 5 member. Getting a nod from the staff is surreal and feels like progress to me! Thanks again.
You are more than welcome! You have some amazing pieces there. We are happy to have you on board and have you featured in a post :)
Thanks again!
Waiting for the last chunk of author rewards which should give me 4 SBD to join Qurator today! I will be upvoting your every post because I want to support your cause. Hopefully this will put me in Tier 2. Question: when I send 4 SBD to @qurator, do I have to do anything else beside writing my profile name in the memo?
I see I am a bit late with the reply as your account was already approved :) It is all good then. Welcome on board!
Keep an eye on the Tier Update later on today in case you were already upvoting the posts.
Thanks so much for sharing our EP review guys! Much appreciated :-)
You are more than welcome! :)
Thanks for the feature! However, we don't just write about music we are also principally performers of music! Here is a sample of some of the work that we do!
A movement of a symphony composed by a incredibly young Mozart!
The overture from the "Bizzaro" suite by Telemann.
You're very welcome! This is really beautiful! Hope members will take a look at those too :)
We wanted to feature a post that is still active so that it can still get upvotes from other Qurites.
Of course! We are finding the payout model here (7 days) u so ideal for posting our performances. At least, not whilst we have a small following!
Thank for mentioning @musicapoetica, I am the concertmaster for the group. So, I thought I would also share a little something from a concert that we did together. It is a section from the Markus Passion (composed by Bach, but completed by the artistic director of @musicapoetica, Jorn Boysen). It is a moment of joyful sadness after the most imaginable disaster.
I've been posting music all week so the timing is great but there is one thing, I listen to some really aggressive metal music for the most part. Here is a link to one my posts that has a nicer prettier song and video attached to it but I warn you it is still metal. I'd only listen to the rest if your looking for motivation to do hard labor or need to get some heat out guys. https://steemit.com/music/@gregorypatrick/in-flames-here-until-forever
Hi, the timing is indeed great. There is more Qurites that do enjoy metal music too ;)
cool thanks, that's great to hear. I try and go easy with it because I'm not looking to shock anyone or ruin someone's day by accidentally offending them. It's all in good fun after all ja
Terrific.. music so important to us all..
It makes the day better, doesn't it? :)
Nothing fancy, but here's my latest post. It talks about the few MIDI keyboards I owned, and how I've always enjoyed listening to demo songs:
Keyboards and My "Addiction" to Demo Songs
I started to learn how to play on a Cassio keyboards (before we got a real piano) that had lots of those Demo songs too :D I now what you mean! Sometimes my piano teacher was putting some simple beat to keep the rhythm and we were playing to it.
Pretty cool stuff! But knowing how to actually play is the best :)
Learning to play may not be easy (at least to me, it's not. It can even get frustrating sometimes), but when it pays off and the results come, it's so fulfilling!
It is :) And I had a great teacher. That also helped a lot.
Fingers crossed for your progress :)
Thank you.
Hi! I wrote some music stuff posts! They're a two-parter on "how to read music like a boss!"
Part one:
https://steemit.com/informationfinding/@zpedro/information-finding-championship-season-1-round-19-entry-reading-music-like-a-boss-in-no-time
Part two:
https://steemit.com/music/@zpedro/how-to-read-music-rhythm-fever-is-here-1522806519
I'll soon add posts about harmony and other things! I want you to be able to read simple music scores!
Reading music for complete beginners must look like an impossible thing :) All those dots and lines and little wiggly tails :p
The hardest is to start... after a while everyone can read like a pro!
The concept is very very very easy... But then things complicate a bit and sure you require a lot of practice to do it fluently. But it's purely a matter or practice. 100% a matter of practice!
Very true :) Took me a few years to get close to fluent ;)
