Qurator's Photo Friday - Photography Competition #43
Welcome to the 43rd Edition of Photo Friday - Hosted by @qurator!
Below you will find some unbelievable images captured by your fellow Qurites from all over the world! See what adventures they have shared with all of us! Don't forget to vote for your favorite and if you'd like to nominate your own image for next week's competition, make sure to comment #nominate below.
Each Friday we will select 5 Qurites and feature their photography in our Daily Qurator post. Each Qurite featured in this post needs to comment with their photo featured in this post. The user with the most upvotes on their comment (not money value) will win a Tier 5 membership for 30 days!. Only comments from Qurator members will count. The votes will be counted when this post reaches payout.
Want to take part in Photo Friday? NOMINATE! After you upvoted your favorite photo!
DO
Want to take part in the next Photo Friday? Sure you can! Simply comment in the comment section with #nominate
.
We will then consider your account and look over your feed for any Photography related posts for the upcoming Photo Friday
DO NOT:
Post links and/or pictures of your most recent posts. We will not choose them. Why? Well, we want the nominees to also benefit from being in the Photo Friday Edition. If you give us a link now and we use it for the next issue of Photo Friday your post has most likely reached payout. That means no extra upvotes... We will select the most recent posts from your feed.
So instead, just include#nominate
in your comment of this post (don't forget to vote for your favorite photo first).
We will take it from there and consider your feed for the next Photo Friday.
We hope this can spark some more interest in the photography community within Qurator. Hopefully to get more users to visit photography related blogs and appreciate your photography. Hopefully there will also be some nice rewards on your comment in this post.
We have made it easy for all participants by providing the links to their photos that they can just copy and paste into the comment section of this post to officially enter the competition!
PLEASE NOTE, ONLY THOSE FEATURED IN THIS POST MUST PASTE THE LINKS BELOW IN THE COMMENT SECTION. POSTING THE LINK IF IT IS NOT YOURS COULD RESULT IN A FLAG.

Berg Lake And Steve
It was one year ago this past weekend that I captured this image. It is one of those shots that keeps drawing me back to work on slightly different versions of it. I think I am however getting close to a result that does it justice. It was taken looking south towards the North Face of Mt Robson with the Milky Way rising along with the aurora related phenomena of STEVE accompanied by a ‘Picket Fence’ travelling east west below it
Have you ever been fortunate enough to see the northern lights in person? @intrepidphotos has and look at the image they shared here today from a visit to Mt Robson and Berg Lake in Canadian Rockies. Breathtaking view!

Palm Trees In Kwazulu Natal
Fountain Crown a lovely description given to Palm Trees.
Durban definitely we have an abundance of Palm Trees being referred to as the "Garden Province", tall palms, others lower to the ground offering a gentle rustling sound on a gentle sea breeze. Durban being sub-tropical most gardens will have a palm tree or two
While I have never heard of KwaZulu-Natal before in my life, am definitely wanting to make reservations to go there and see this exact sunset! What a beautiful way to end the day!

Merzouga, Morocco- African Wednesday Week 52
Merzouga, Morocco
I took this picture about 20 minutes before the sun went down as the colors were perfect to capture them. The area is in Merzouga, Morocco (Sahara desert) - Amazing place!
I can almost feel the arid atmosphere from this image. The heat from the sun, the hot sand between my toes... WHEW I bet it was hot! Just look at the way @worldcapture was able to show the sand peaks and the sun's rays beaming down.

Cervantes Photography Contest- 5th Delivery- Breaking The Rocks
The raging sea unloading its fury on the rocks of the shore
WOW Talk about water crashing to shore! Look at how the waves seem to overtake the rocks along this beach near Playa de Los Alemanes, in Zahara de los Atunes, Cádiz

Imagine The Impossible- Drop Of Red Wine
"How to create amazing memories?"
Easy recipe - Prepare a magical dinner. Maybe put out some candles and a set of red roses to. Don't forget to buy a good glass of red wine
Just a drop... only a drop! Who could imagine what a HUGE splash a little drop of red wine could make. Look at that! @marjanko really knows how to capture a moment!
Good luck to all the entries! May the best photo win!
