"The Funeral Of The Anarchist Galli," Carlo Carrá (1911)

From Reflections Of A Young Man:

"If we have chosen the position in life in which we can most of all work for mankind, no burdens can bow us down, because they are sacrifices for the benefit of all; then we shall experience no petty, limited, selfish joy, but our happiness will belong to millions, our deeds will live on quietly but perpetually at work, and over our ashes will be shed the hot tears of noble people."

Sort:

a communist? I haven't seen many others here.

I find it hard to call myself a Communist now that I've abandoned my tank, but I've got an attachment to the iconoclasm of Marx in most social circles.

Isnt it all just one big spook, though? 😜 Thanks for letting me know Im not all alone.

authoritarian or libertarian doesn't matter, the goal of communism is the same

This is hard work but you'll definitely gain respect and patronage from other people
