Your quote is so true. My favorite Twain quote is what he said about golf. He called it a good walk spoiled. (I like golf, but the quote is so funny.)
Very true, the fact that he lived in a time that information wasn't so easy and free to find made him a very intelligent and great man. The humor combined with the truth was brilliant.I haven't hear that one, but looked it up :-)

this quote isn't funny, but a sad statement of our times..
as we rely almost exclusively on them in scientific studies.
