Looks quite similar to an MRI, I had an MRI on my knee about 8 years ago and it wasn't an easy experience at all, the noise produced by the MRI is very disturbing, hope the CT scan experiance is better
Correct! Similar in shape
I can imagine! Its the magnetic and radio waves to scan the body thats so noisy. And its at least 40mins. Many are claustrophobic or get panic attacks and cant cope through the whole process
The CT scan is quick. A couple of minutes only to maybe the longest 10mins. I am used to the CT scan because i work in the emergency department and the patients require a quick scan and diagnosis:) and its cheaper!
It is a MRI machine similar to the one I went through. Where are the headsets and blind fold? I was given these to keep the loud sound out when I was inside.
Correct! Its a CT/CAT scan! Well done. Have you been in it?
FYI: CTs and MRIs are used for different purposes, although either can be used in some cases. CT scans are helpful in diagnosing serious injuries to the head, chest/lungs, abdomen, spine and pelvis. CT is quicker but has more radiation.
MRIs often do a better job of diagnosing issues in the soft tissues, breasts, joints, spine, tendons and ligaments- so differences between normal and abnormal tissue is clearer.
I don't know if I have had a CAT scan before (possibly when I was younger), but I have had an MRI taken before because I have epilepsy and they had to do a brain scan. If you are claustrophobic, MRIs can be fairly unnerving since your entire body has to be inside the tube for a while. I had to stay in one for about 30 minutes. I wasn't too scared of the whole ordeal, but it is not fun having to lie still in the same position for that long inside of a tube.
I'm gussing 360° speaker audio experience!
Gotta be Dyson Air
Im loving the imagination and the 'wishful' thinking gadgets that i wish i had haha

Its a CT scan. Very similar to MRIs. But much quicker and not as noisy.
Thanks for the clarification of this machine vs MRI machine. This is great as I find the MRI machine too noisy and scary.
@jackpot
Clearly it's a Philips Stargate ... I'm so pleased to see they have advanced to allow a reclined trip through the wormhole ...
Is actually Steemit Stargate
hahaha damn right you are! I like your answer! If i were 'rich' would have given you 100%:)
Thank you :) I figured I should have some fun with it!
I'm guessing a MRI or CAT scan machine.

Totally agree with you. Can be scary. And its so noisy. Your 30mins could feel 3hours!:(
