Continuing My SteemFest Adventures Series: SteemFest Conference Day1 29 Photos At The Beautiful Historical Belem Conference Center
As you know SteemFest was over 3 months ago.....As you also know I was there and felt it was one of the most awesome events I have ever been a part of it.
I just made a post the other day in tribute to the great man @roelandp #2 witness & the mastermind behind SteemFest 1 in Amsterdam and SteemFest2 in Lisbon Portugal.
I have posted quite a few posts from the days before SteemFest as I arrived early to help set up and get ready for the massive event.
Now I will continue on where I left off, with conference day 1 at the beautiful historical conference center, Belem!
The bus arrived early to the hotel to load up anyone who wanted the free shuttle from the hotel to Belem Center about a 20 min buss ride or $10 taxi.
Everyone was excited and the two busses were PACKED with Steemians from around the world ready for a FULL day at the Belem Center!....Plus AFTER PARTIES!
We arrived at the beautiful historic Belem Conference Center and waited out in the courtyard for the doors to open.
I was helping set up and carried boxes of set up material before the start of the conference day.
I started to sweat carrying all the boxes up the stairs after almost no sleep the night before, but it was WORTH IT! SteemFest FTW!
When the doors opened everyone poured into the beautiful conference center.
There was all you could eat treats and coffee waiting for us!
Everyone was ALREADY having a FANTASTIC time and the presentations hadn't even started yet!
Once the sessions began @roelandp gave the introductory speech to a PACKED Room, there were NO seats available!
While this is a really long post it is only 1/3 of the JAM PACKED DAY of SteemFest conference day 1!

What great memories of our times together in Lisbon. This will be an event to go down in history, as we will never pass this way again!!! Thanks for the trip down memory lane, with all those places and faces....excited for more to come.

Aww such great memories. I have to say that the staff at each of the venues was absolutely AWESOME they deserve such an applause they were so lovely and attentive
Yes @roelandp chose amazing venues, but it also seemed to me that generally speaking the Portuguese service was always quite top notch!
You're right, more than anything, the thing that impressed upon me was that the Lisboans really all wanted to make sure we loved their city as much as we did, such an awesome passion for their beautiful city

Steemfest conferance is a valuable conferance.....great post about steemfest conferance....i always support steemfest conference and appreciate it......
