Load Test Schedule, Testnet Token Distribution and Lottery Plan

Dear QuarkChain Community Members,

On July 9th, we successfully launched our Testnet 1.0 (https://testnet.quarkchain.io/). Here is the Testnet Demo on YouTube

We appreciate the support from all of you!

To show good faith for this process, we are going to distribute testnet tokens (tQKC) for our supporters so that more people can join the testnet! NOTE THAT tQKC IS NOT REAL QKC (it has NO monetary value).

We will automatically launch load tests every 8 hours starting from 8 PM PST July 16th, 2018 to 8 PM PST July 23rd, 2018, 2018, where you can witness the speed of QuarkChain in real time on the website.

We also have a simple game that is ready to play on the testnet and a lottery plan to get real QKC as well!

Instructions for Testnet Token (tQKC) Distribution:

1. Go to https://testnet.quarkchain.io/ and generate a new account on the “Wallet” tab
2. Save your private key somewhere to access your wallet/account later. If you lose your private key, you will lose all your tQKC. We will not be able to recover it for you.
3. Join our Telegram channel (https://t.me/quarkchainio) if you are not there
4. In Telegram, communicate to @quarkchain_testnet_bot and then follow the steps to put in your QuarkChain testnet account/wallet address (for interacting with the testnet) and Ethereum ERC20 address (for receiving the actual QKC rewards)
   If you passed KYC and have a score ≥10 from the public sale, you will have an initial balance (tQKC) based on your score. For example, scores 20-29.99 will get 20 tQKC, 60-69.99 scores will get 60 tQKC, and 70-79.99 scores will get 70 tQKC. You can get an additional 50 tQKC if you complete the tasks in the telegram @quarkchain_testnet_bot.
   If you don’t have a score (i.e., score 0) from the public sale, once you complete the tasks from interacting with the Telegram @quarkchain_testnet_bot, you can get 50 tQKC.
5. Done! Wait for the distribution from QuarkChain. We will distribute testnet tokens (tQKC) every day around 10 AM PST from July 17th, 2018 to July 23rd, 2018.
6. Once you receive your tQKC, if you want to send/receive tQKC to/from another registered address, try to ask for it in the telegram channel (https://t.me/quarkchainio), or invite your friends to join our testnet and register their account with the Telegram @quarkchain_testnet_bot.

Bonus for Early Supporters

For anyone who passed our KYC process and score >= 60, if you didn’t get into our ICO, you will receive 50 QKC to your ERC20 wallet by following the steps below:

1. Make a transaction by sending out at least 10 tQKC to another registered wallet/account on Testnet 1.0 (i.e., the receiving wallet must be another testnet wallet address that is registered with @quarkchain_testnet_bot) during July 16th to July 18th (Deadline is 9 PM PST, July 18th)
2. Receive a transaction with at least 10 tQKC from another registered wallet/account (i.e., the sending wallet must be another testnet wallet address that is registered with @quarkchain_testnet_bot) during July 16th to July 18th (Deadline is 9 PM PST, July 18th).

This bonus program is to appreciate early supporters of QuarkChain. We will have more bonus events coming for our community members!

Game to Earn More tQKC

A simple game with simple rules (one may win more tQKC by playing this game):

1. Set the amount of tQKC you are willing to bet;
2. The smart contract has a 51% chance to send back twice the amount of your bet;
3. Or 49% probability of giving you back nothing.
   After setting the amount, click "Bet", then submit the transaction. Wait until the transaction is included in the block, and you will see the game results and your updated balance (in your primary shard), then you can play another round.

Lottery Rule

The lottery is drawn based on how many tQKC the account has (up to 25 points) and how many transactions from/to registered wallets/accounts (up to 75 points). The total will be 100 points. The higher points an account has, the higher the probability the account can win the lottery.

We will have five lotteries starting from 9 PM PST July 19th to 9 PM PST July 23rd. For every 24 hours starting from 9 PM PST July 19th, we will perform a lottery with the points based on the following rules.

1. 10 tQKC in the balance = 1 point, up to 25 points
2. One unique registered address in recent 24 hours = 5 points, up to 75 points (the unique registered address is defined as a wallet/account registered in @quarkchain_testnet_bot, and sent to or received from at least 10 tQKC at least one time)

If you want to send/receive tQKC to/from another registered address, try to ask for it in telegram channel (https://t.me/quarkchainio), or invite your friends to join our testnet and register their account @quarkchain_testnet_bot

Real QKC will be rewarded for each lottery:
7,000 QKC - 1 winner
3,000 QKC - 2 winners
1,000 QKC - 7 winners

Richest tQKC Owner Reward
At 9 PM PST July 23rd, we will list Top 10 “wealthy” tQKC owners and reward the Top 3 owners with real QKC in the following manner:
10,000 QKC - First place
5,000 QKC - Second place
2,500 QKC - Third place
