The Quarantine Chronicles: Day 3 - Some groceries and an impromptu Jazz concert on the street

This is probably gonna be a short post, cause I just am not feeling it today, but I want to keep this routine up. Sabrina and I went out today so she could get some sunshine. Unfortunately we live on the shady side of the street, and she hasn't been out of the house for almost a week, so she needed it. We went to the grocery store but we are not allowed to go in together as they are limiting the number of people who are allowed in the store at any given time. That is fine, it makes total sense. It was really good to get some sunshine and just breathe some fresh air.

Speaking of fresh air, it was incredible how fresh it actually was. We live right in the city in Barcelona, a neighbourhood called Poble Sec, and it is so polluted here. We could really tell walking how much fresher the air was than normal, it was a welcome treat.

My parents called from Canada and we chatted to them which was really nice. I heard that the USA is closing their borders today, and just before that Canada officially closed the border with America which is a huge thing. Never in my life has the border to the States been closed, it's crazy to even think about. Now all they have to do is lock down that damn Arctic border and they will be safe!! Hahaha.

On a positive note they have been starting this tradition of everyone going out on balconies at 8:00pm and clapping and cheering in an effort to thank the medical staff who are working to fight the virus, and to build morale I guess. Well as this is going on the past day two guys who live in the building beside us will come out with a cello and guitar and play a little tiny jazz concert. It's really cool and relaxing, and it chills everyone out.

Now we are trying to sort out some work stuff.... fun.

And once that's done I guess just chill out.
