Celebration time! (a puzzle)
I see my short post with the inverted photo a week ago, as a photo puzzle - was well accepted. So today I thought - why not do this again? So here is a new one.
Not a very long time from now we will be celebrating here one important yearly event.
What exactly will we celebrate? When?
Please also describe, what will make this time our celebration exclusive, extraordinary?

It is the national day of lithuania, celebrating independence from Germany and Russia in 1918. Celebrated on Feb 16.
You also have the national day of estonia on the 24th, for similar reasons.

Two days of independence are celebrated: the Restoration of the State Day on February 16th and the Restoration of Independence Day on March 11.During WWI, German troops occupied the region while marching to Russia, and they maintained control until the Russian revolution in 1917. At this time, Germany gave Lithuanians the choice to be aligned either with Germany or Russia. Ignoring these options, the Act of Independence of Lithuania was signed, proclaiming independence on February 16, 1918 (the Restoration of the State Day).Congratulations Sir... It's new year celebration 2016
Municipality of Vilnius decided that time that that fireworks from the Sereikiškės Park will not be allowed, as vibrations could damage Gediminas Hill. They proposed a place for fireworks to be selected on Mount Three Crosses
And yes I am an Indian.:)
