At the presidential election held on Sunday, the incumbent head of state, candidate Vladimir Putin, won by a significant margin from other candidates, gaining 76.65% of the vote in the presidential election. This is a record support for his voters in his political career. The second place is occupied by the candidate from the Communist Party Pavel Grudinin, the third is the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party Vladimir Zhirinovsky.
