My Primary Purpose for Living on this Earth
Hello again, friend.
Today I am outside on this beautiful sunny day. I took my bike out to a trail near my home, and I am currently sitting at my favorite spot. There are trees and open fields all around me and I love to come here to practice gratitude for all the things I am blessed with in this life.
It got me thinking about why I do what I do. Why do I create videos and post them to @dtube? Why do I encourage and uplift others? Why am I upfront and authentic with my audience?
Those thoughts caused me to dive even deeper into the reason why I'm here. My primary purpose for living on this earth. The driving factor behind why I do anything and everything.
That reason involves you, and it also involves God. My primary purpose on this planet revolves around bringing glory to my creator, the God of the Bible, my Father in Heaven.
It is from that reason and that purpose that I do what I do. Every interaction I have, every word I speak, every thought I have...my mission is to make God's name BIGGER.
This message isn't always popular. Bringing Jesus into conversation sometimes makes people uneasy. Do you want to know why that is? The reason that people become a little uneasy when His name is brought up, is because it has so much POWER.
The name of Jesus has so much power that it makes people uncomfortable because now they have to deal with their sinful nature. Myself included.
But you see, the beauty of Jesus is that he loves you and he wants a relationship with you. He made you in his image and he created you for relationship with him. He came to this earth 2000 years ago to pay the penalty for your sins and for mine.
This is me...raw and unfiltered, sharing my heart with you. In fact, I am using the very same heart the God himself fashioned inside of me before I was born. I talk about this topic because God is literally everything to me.
Life is too short to waste our time on things that don't matter. What matters is RELATIONSHIPS. We are relational beings who need one another to grow and to live our lives to the fullest.
That is one of the reasons why I enjoy Steem so much. It's because of the COMMUNITY. The passion that drives each of us to succeed and to make the dream come alive.
My parents raised me in this faith, but I have also done my own searching. I have searched for truth in this life...and all of that searching keeps leading me back to the one who gave me the words I am writing at this very moment.
The one who gives me breath. The only one who has the power to break the chains of sin and death. And that is God's son, Jesus Christ.
I understand that bringing him into the conversation can put some people's guards up, but I encourage you to do the opposite and bring your guards down. Allow Christ to work in your heart and change you from the inside out.
The relationship that I have with him is so beautiful and so real, that I want you to experience that too. I want you to experience a saving relationship with Jesus and live this life to the fullest. He came to give us life and life abundantly. All you need to do is repent of your sins and begin to follow him.
I appreciate you friend, and I care so deeply about you. May this post resonate with your soul and help you to understand the depth of God's love for you and for the many.
Any questions please leave them below, I'd be happy to speak with you more about this.
Have an amazing day today and remember...YOU ARE AWESOME.
Take care.

Without purpose, life will be useless,
With out Jesus Christ there is now purpose, no reason to live for.
Yes it makes people uncomfortable, but what it should really do is make them comfortable, because he said "come near to me and i will come near to you" and even said it better "where sin abide, grace supper abide" people fail to see his grace and feel they are too far away to come back to God, but its never too late, every moment we're in need of him, He is the source of our life and the only reason we're alive today, its all because of him.
Thanks for a wonderful post @kenmelendez, keep the faith growing cheer @ogt
@ogt I agree with you! Jesus should make us feel comfortable all the time. I think the issue is our sin nature that doesn't want to be exposed to a perfect God which then causes the uncomfortable feelings sometimes. For those who have a personal relationship with Him, they are filled with love, joy, and peace on a daily basis.

Very true @kenmelendez
Most time people forget that when we go near to him as said in
And He will draw near to us too, but we have to decide first and not be double minded.
Thanks foe the lovely reply @kenmelendez
Cheer @ogt
That is quite interesting
Glad you think so @doziekco. Have you done your own searching for truth?

Thiß is just too awesome. I'm excited about so many things on this post but one important aspect is the fact that i have found someone who writes almost the same area of specialization as myself. So i can also call u my mentor.
Thank u so much once again @kenmelendez for this purposeful article. Without Jesus, there's no purpose in life.
@eddie23 appreciate your kind words. Without Jesus there is no purpose indeed. He created us with a mission in mind that is far greater than our own. Keep the faith my friend.

Thank you
Great view my friend. It's really beautiful
@nickarora I appreciate that. I came across one of your videos the other day and I like how authentic you are. You just get in front of the camera and share who you are with the community. Bravo and cheers to you my friend. Have you heard of the Steem Creators?

Life must have a goal @kenmelendez ,,, if life does not have a goal like a tree that does not bear fruit ,, so in a proverb says ...
@sudutpandang I totally agree with you. Life must have meaning and purpose and it is found in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen!
-Ken
Yes @kenmelendez ,,,
May we who have a volunteer purpose of life help others who are confused to find their way of life ...
Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us @kenmelendez I appreciate your openness.
It sounds like you are still a little afraid of your true nature. And that you think your nature is sinful at times but at other times you sound confident that you were created in the image of God.
You might feel conflicted and may not be entirely sure if your true nature is Godly or sinful. That is what I understand based on your posts.
Thanks again for the opportunity to discuss this!
