En algunos idiomas hablando en un tono monótono es la norma. (Estoy mirando para ti, finlandés). En otros, la entonación puede ser intensa y variada.
El inglés cae en algún lugar en el medio: los hablantes nativos tienden a variar su entonación con base en la idea que está siendo transmitida; por ejemplo, la voz tiende a subir al final de una pregunta y disminuir si cuenta algo confidencial o serio.
Tenga esto en mente mientras se prepara; usted puede incluso hacer anotaciones que dicen cosas como "deje su voz más alta con esa palabra" o "baje la voz hacia abajo".
Utilice la iniciación de manera inteligente y usted mejorará significativamente las habilidades de hablar en público.
