Sometimes Im going to bed after long and difficult day with 4-5h/24 sleep and in the moment when Im ready to get in deep rest suddenly I wake up and it starts this crazy "battle' with the thoughts,fear ,panic and all of this what you descripe above.
When Im close to loose my mind I press myself to calm down.I realise that people who pass this " red line ' are getting mad,become schizophrenic and I say to myself : No !!! Im strong I have to calm down whatever happen my psychical health is more important so let the problems fly away....
It's good that you're still consciously settling yourself down and is aware of the red line. I hope you manage to hold yourself at bay and not cross the line.
