Common Psychological Fears

Human creature has been afraid of lot of things for years. We should question why we are afraid of them. They are actually harmless fears. There are many researches on people who have psychological fears... Let me show some example...

Cemetery
Generally people are afraid of cemeteries. Even people don't believe in ghosts, they feel bad in a cemetery, especially at night. This fear comes from society and past. Cemeteries are known as bad places because of films and series. Actually, there are no zombies and ghosts in a cemetery. In addition, tombstones don't fly around.

Dark
This fear comes up because of traumatic experiences. Generally, people don't like being in dark. In the dark, everything is unknown. Unknown scares people... Actually, even we don't see anything in the dark, eveything is same. So, there is no danger! According to psychologists, if you are annoyed from the dark, if you have trouble breathing in the dark, you have a dark fear. In 2016, 142 people are asked "can you sleep in a dark room?". Most of them answered, "I am scared of the dark."
In addition, %11 of US people have fear of the dark.

Rejection
Fear of rejection is very common. Most of people are afraid of being rejected. So, they avoid to say their emotions. This fear is nonsense because being rejected is not the end of the world. It is very natural to reject. If you say your emotions, maybe you win instead of being rejected! This fear may cause losing a lot of opportunity.

Loneliness
Another psychological fear is being alone. This fear may make people anxious and depressed. Fear of loneliness' causes are divorcing, death of family or friends, breaking up and being asocial. If you make healthy relationships, you can destroy this fear. Because, it means you need people around you!

Crowd
Some people escape from crowded areas. They don't like to be with a lot of people. They avoid to live in modern cities. According to psychologists, anxiety and sensitivity are causes of this fear. Being calm is the best treatment.

You read some examples of nonsense fears... They are harmless and we should stop being afraid of these basic things...If you can't come over, you can get help from a psychologist.

About the Crowd thing. I was like that. But when I started going to the gym, that was it. No more fear. No more ''they are looking at me'' crap.
Now I had self-confidence. I knew that I am doing nothing wrong and people don't care about me.
Being calm is not easy but anyways, I recommend the guys to hit the gym!

Because at gym you have a lot of people around you. That gives you a self confidence. :)
