Magic Mushrooms: Dreams Money Can Buy
We often hear the saying "Dreams money can buy," but never is it so literal. Is DMT, the active compound so similar to Psilocybin (magic mushrooms), responsible for natural dreaming? That's what many say and after all my research, I'd say so.. It's incredible to have the opportunity to dream while awake. Saying that, is that the only kind of dream that you achieve when administering magic mushrooms? Not quite.
What are you really doing when using DMT or Psilocybin? The trip is great but the long term benefits of magic mushrooms are hands down the best part. Recently there has been an effort to study these compounds' effect on the mind and the results are astounding. They are truly meant to be on Earth for essential purposes.
Psilocybin helps break thought patterns or addictions, heal emotional trauma, and mimics serotonin receptors. For those with low serotonin receptor induced depression, this is a lifesaving medication, though it is not for everyone. One trip has the potential to eliminate depression for months and "reset" the mind. It truly heals the mental pains and makes you rethink everything, and the best part is it lasts months... No need for monthly contracts for big pharma pills daily.
The euphoria of "dreaming" while awake is great, but for those of us who need help because our bodies have been damaged, the real dream is just peace of mind...
With Love and Hope,
Marco
I have my doubts about anti-depressants as much as I do for mushrooms. Just because there is a correlation with a substance it doesn't mean there is direct causation.
Hmmm maybe you'd need some experience with the mushrooms? :P

An extremely controversial subject, and far too subjective from person to person to ever state that 'mushrooms do this' or 'mushrooms do that'.
Mushrooms do many things for different people; and depending on life circumstances, they can actually contribute to negative states of mind; and make your negative aspects even worse.
I know of a case of an introvert friend who took them in a bid to cure his depression; but they only turned him further in to himself, and some would say made him worse.
The results really are subjective from person to person. I am all for their use and the experimentation with them to see how they work for you and what insight they bring; but I definitely think they should come with a warning.
False hope can lead to dodgy things, and if you put all your eggs in one basket, just be prepared for that basket to fall from a great height at some point. It makes the shockwaves a little easier to absorb when you realise it's not all rainbows and fairies.
