Puerto Rico Economic Crisis Protest ends in violence and vandalism

This week a nationwide protest due to the economic crisis in Puerto Rico ended in violence. Police fired tear gas and rubber bullets against some protesters who participated in vandalism and set items on fire in the middle of the streets. Several businesses suffered damage including large glass panels of the Banco Popular building in La Milla de Oro.
