I've made this before but it didn't turn out as well.
I was looking for things to put my nutri-ninja to the test and remembered the recipe for this.

  • 1/4 cup milk or milk substitute (I use almond milk)
  • 1/4 cup protein powder
  • 1 cup frozen fruit ( I used strawberries here)

Then blitz in a blender until light and fluffy.

For the nutri-ninja I used the chop programme a few times to smash up the berries, then the puree programme a few times until it reached the desired consistency.
You will need a powerful blender, machine mixer or a lot of elbow grease to knock enough air into it.

But its worth it depending on the fruit you use it can have very good macros.
It's so light and fluffy it makes it quite filling and satisfying. Perfect for fooling yourself into thinking you are breaking your diet with a treat.

I do the same!!! Although now that I see your photo I think I need a better blender....😏 you can also mix coconut and soya milk along with almond, and a few sprinkles of dark chocolate. (The darker the better)Makes fooling yourself even more enjoyable 😬

only really done it with berries so far, i wanna try banana with a little vanilla extract next. I will give your suggestion a go too
