My Promo-Mentors Writing Challenge: My Best Beach Experience

Talking about memorable experiences, I have my diary in which I list down all the remarkable things happened in my life every single day.

And here’s one of it:

Let’s go back to 2017, second month of the year.

Summer officially starts by March but I decided to go to a beach for a short breather by February and for me it was a perfect choice. For two days, it was as if I owned the whole beach resort that I chose to stay.

It was in Calatagan, Batangas and resort’s name is Manuel Uy Beach.

There’s no room or cottage yet there and it is just a tent that you have to pitch for you to have a resting and private place.

And it’s fine for me! I love backpacking and sleeping on tents is my expertise for several years already due to my nomadic and wandering life.

I am also used to being on a solo trip or even with joiners or strangers. For me, it is a nice thing to know new people and meet new friends every now and then. It is so wonderful to share stories with strangers that will eventually become your friend or even travel buddy!

But this time during my trip, I was with my ex-boyfriend.

We already broken up two years ago but we decided to be friends again and this trip became so unforgettable for both of us because we had the chance to catch things up with each other’s lives and also had some heart to heart talks.
The beach we have gone is truly a hidden and unspoiled paradise. We were so happy to see its beauty during sunrise, mid-day and sunset.

Few months after this trip, we went back again to each other’s arms. And until now, we’re still happy for having that decision to go on a short vacation together.
