#Promo-Steem - Sharing to Twitter is very poor
Please use the #Steemit hash tag when sharing your blogs to Twitter
As a Community, I feel that we could be doing more when sharing across our Social Network, especially to Twitter.
I have just counted up the number of Tweets that have been posted to Twitter with the hash tag #Steemit.
For me, I feel that the number is very disappointing.
With 58 tweets in 6 hours using the hash tag #Steemit, this equates to approximately 232 tweets / day.
How do I know this?
I have just counted them all and "liked" every one of them on twitter..!!
With 232 tweets / day we will never get #Steemit trending..!!
Recently I have started to put together a Database of active #Steemit users that are also active on Twitter with the sole intention to attempt to get #Steemit trending on Twitter.
However, with a mere 232 tweets / day being posted to twitter using the #Steemit hash tag, to achieve such a goal with these sorts of numbers, I feel is damn near impossible..!!
Lack of appetite to want to promote #Steemit Blogs
For months, I have been expressing my concern that there is a significant lack of appetite to want to promote #Steemit Blogs on Twitter and this I can only suggest is down to a lack of desire to want to grow the Community.
I am hoping I have got it completely wrong
Having been on #Steemit for coming up to 2 years, I am confident to say that there appears to be a worrying pattern emerging that I am hoping I have got it completely wrong.
Where's the Power when we need it most..!!

I strongly believe that we have some of the best Technical people working on developing the Community, but sadly I feel we are extremely weak in the Commercial sense.
Sadly at the age of 52 I have seen it all before
I am sure that there will be some of you out there that would feel like jumping down my throat and would like to rip my head off by taking such a stance, but sadly at the age of 52 I have seen it all before.
The worrying thing about what we possibly could be facing, is a highly technical piece of kit that is being controlled by just a handful of wealthy individuals and trust me if this was the case then it really would be a very sad thing to happen to #Steemit.

I agreed with your idea. We can make steemit as trending with our focuse and commitment. # steemit hashtag is must important to make a post on twitter. A huge tweets makes #steemit trending on twitter.
Steemit is our source of income. So think about it promotion. We are steemians. And think like creatives who do something bigger to acheive goals. I am agreed that we must promote #steemit on twitter witk making it as hashtag. And make steemit as trending on twitter.

Interest in Steemit and blogging increases with STEEM price since people are purely driven by reward. I know that when the market is down or trending sideways that I rarely want to write blogs since the incentive just isn't there.
You are true sir, twitter is barometer to check the popularity of certain other community like steemit. But dont worry sir, I am hopeful, together we can bring steemit on board.
