"Steem The North" Promotional Strategy For Steem And Empowerment By Steem

Hello world !!
we can't hold back the excitement as we announce to you that @steemthenorth is live and kicking, we are officially letting you be on track.

Remember @xpency introduced @steemthenorth with a post where he detailed the proposed activities of the project.

Those familiar with this region, the northern Nigeria will all agree with me that it is not easy for them as the highest illiteracy rate is found there, the highest population and land mass also, so it is only wise we target them with the major aim of empowerment, to the youth and the community in extension.

It is not your normal community on steemit seeking upvotes and attention but it goes deeper than that, we want to go beyond that to serve as voice and influencers to this region, like they say, give a man fish and he will be hungry soon after, but teach him how to fish and your guess is as good as the party, he will feed himself and others around. So we are not just going to give away money to these young Nigerians but to teach them a way to create value and get rewarded for it.

Steemit in general is about reward for value and lately the youth in these regions have lost that word 'value' for life, hardwork and all the good thing that come with that word. We are ambassadors of value reorientation for this generation and explaining why we need to return to value over money, value over favours, value over tribe and we believe that will have a very grey impact on the society and Nigerians in extension.

In this downtime for Steem and steemit, there is no better time to get people in, because they were in at the worst times so when it gets better, then it will be a double blessing for them and seriously Steemit could use some more publicity right? It can't be too much right!! Sure as the upturn of our fortune somehow depends on the level of acceptance of this currency and the way we can get more people to use it is only through sensitisations like this and bringing more people on board and mind you not everybody will stay but we are sure those serious with making an impact will.

The programs and activities of this community spells fun, not really because we are about fun- even though we are, but majorly because we figure that majority of the people in this region are youths and there is no better way to get young people to jump at an idea than giving the idea in the form of fun and guess what?
We have the fun and much more for them.
Some of these activities includes;

• Campfire
• University storm
• BBQ party
• Picnics and
• Night club.
  All accompanied by Steem sensitization.

So all said what do we want from you?
Why bug you with these if we have everything figured out?
Simple your support in upvotes, resteems and remember one of our programs will involve getting poems and stories from high school student and putting them on the platform and giving back to them the proceeds so only your supports can make that a reality.
