The Ugandan steemit meet up. One of a kind.

2nd June, 2018 will live to be remembered as the first day where we the Ugandans decided to meet up to talk about the steemit and crypto currencies in general.

It was a real blast. We enjoyed a lot.
The major purpose for this meet up was primarily To get to know each other.
This is because, since steemit is still new in Uganda, few members have minded to join and we couldn't follow up one another. We could just meet here on steemit and discuss about different issues via comments on certain blogs with the Ugandan tags. And the Uganda tag being so far used by the few, means that we're still of a low number to this platform.

We fortunately received some new guys who didn't know anything about the platform but and wanted to know more about it before they could join. And others had signed up already but their accounts hadn't been approved yet. So they posed different questions to us and were satisfactorily answered by the big guys of the Ugandan team and these are @jaraumoses, @tesaganewton,@musamalijames, @yohan2on,@battebilly and her highness @ireneblessing. Haha

Alot of information were discussed in this meet up and below are some of which we discussed about.

1. How to invest in steem ie buying steem power for future purpose.
2. How to get $100 in a week via commenting.
3. How to attract and write real blogs that can be attractive to readers.
4. Setting up an office where we can meet always for the meet ups and discuss about the projects.

And finally, though not on the list we discussed, we're to stage a contest for Ms and Mr steemit uganda.

The offices we're to get are also to cater for those guys who would want to join but have no idea of how to join it. So, we'll be teaching those who wants to join. Just like any other volunteering offices.

I salute you all guys who managed to turn up. And I appreciate the personal discussions with @sembozezade and @tesaganewton.

Haha.... What's funny is that I nearly gotten drunk. As I felt like a spinning head, I ran immediately to the rest room and wetted my head. I then gained consciousness. I had never gotten drunk before but since the party was a blast, I had to enjoy with the comrades.

One for the road is the motto. Let's keep the thing rolling.

Special thanx to @achimmertens for his endless support to the Ugandan team. And @bramd. You guys we appreciate a lot for what your doing for us.
Looking forward for the next meet up.

Thanx to you all.
