I agree with you that we can all contribute to promote steemit (and that we should) but the only trouble I think right now is that it takes so darn long for people to get an account approved (unless they buy and pay for it in steem) that it can put people off. I think that needs to be addressed even before we try to bring people on board as there is nothing worst than bad first experience. There you have my 0.00 cent of opinion, lol :D
