STEEMIT IS NOT A COMPETITION

Yes Steemit is a platform and not a competition. I joined steemit in August 2017. There is serious and great room for overtaking. The journey has been fun all the way.

I am writing this because a friend of mine saw my reputation and how far I have grown on steemit. The thing is that this friend of mine registered on steemit with me on the same day but actually got her Steemit password before me.

I have gone so far ahead on steemit because I took Steemit seriously. I invested time and some little money I had in steem. The difference is that I took it seriously.

TAKE STEEMIT SERIOUSLY

if you take steemit seriously, you will excel and do very well. You will meet alot of people somewhere somehow. Keep doing what you love to do. Be yourself. Do not worry about others overtaking you. Everybody has their time, so be patient and wait for your time, it will definitely come.

I have seen several young lards do well and have even overtaken me in reputation because they've put in more hardwork and discovered better growing opportunities. Most of them have met people.

WHAT TO DO AND MY ADVICE FOR YOU

(1) Keep an open mind and be yourself. I have reached out to several people about steemit, organised physical storms in my city and even carried out some online campaigns that have brought several people to this great platform.

(2) Be passionate and spontaneous. Take advantage of opportunities. Belong to a group of other steemians.
It would have been very tough if I wasn't a member of any group. One major group that helped in my steemit journey is the Steembees group, headed by @ewuoso. I learnt alot of things and came across several opportunities in this group.

(3) Be ready for the future. The future of Steemit is very huge. If you can buy more STEEM, please do. You will be glad you did when STEEM hits $100 and above in the future.

Just enjoy yourself in the community. Let nothing bother you. Do as much as you can to grow daily and I can tell you that they sky is your starting point.

Don't give up and don't let anything discourage from steeming. It's normal to want to feel discouraged because of the payout. It might be little right now, but don't let it bother you. Focus on enjoying the community and bringing out the best in you for the community. You will remember how you started and share your testimony to encourage others soon enough.
