Ulog #046 : "Walk of Hope/Steemit Philippines" a word of mouth in Tan-awan, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental, Philippines
As Tan-awan is another municipality up in the mountains, an hour away from the city center of Kabankalan, @flabbergast-art can only go down to the city every weekend. This is the only time now that he can update his family and friends, including us in Walk of Hope. Hearing the feedback from the community of Tan-awan regarding our Bamboo products presentation melts our heart in knowing that our work in @walkofhope is being appreciated. And Walk of Hope without Steemit, will not be able to function MUCH without the generosity of our supporters in the platform, most especially from our upvoters, donors and @pennsif & his @adollaraday team.
A dollar goes a long way in the Philippines and as our advocacy needs FUNDS for it to run, those steems/sbd are very helpful. As our materials are locally found, our present fundraising will be used to buy tools till a community can create quality products for the Department of Tourism and Industry (DTI) and the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) who will provide the necessary tools for each community for its' continuity. We have seen this after our workshop and training in Bayawan City. Tools bought by us will remain with @flabbergast-art for our next projects to other communities.

Our project in Tan-awan is in collaboration with the Mountain Dreamers-Philippines, another NGO from Kabankalan City. We want to thank Mark John Fabale and his team for their hands-on support with @flabbergast-art, who not only have the heart to teach our youth with livelihood skills, but also from introducing and promoting his indigenous musical instruments, our youth can also make and play their own instruments.
Music & Arts, livelihood training, creating ecology products and Steemit promotion
This is the core of what we do, not only for our youth but includes our less fortunate Filipinos that we will be coming across from Visayas, Mindanao, culminating in Luzon.

Music and Arts can unite people of different culture, they can unite a Nation.
The "Walk of Hope Tour" aims to do just that, leaving behind a legacy of HOPE, Music, Arts and Livelihood in every place that we will be staying from.
Thank you!
