Four workers killed in stone quarry collapsed in Jaflong
Four stones workers, including a woman, were killed in a hole in the hole during the lifting of stones at Jaflong in Gowainghat upazila of Sylhet. Three more injured.

One of the dead was named Nur Mia (50). He is son of Mofiz Ullah of Mirpur village of Jagannathpur upazila of Sunamganj district. It was not possible to know the identity of the rest until the report was written in the evening. The injured were identified as Sadek Mia, Helal Mia, Mizanur Rahman.
Eyewitnesses and police sources said, ignoring the ban of the court, stones in the Zoom area of Jaflong temple were hoarding a cycle illegally. In the same continuation this morning, 7 people collapsed in the collapse of the stone during the lifting of stone. Four workers including a woman were killed and 3 others injured in the incident. Local people rescued the injured and took them to the hospital.
After receiving information about the incident, the police personnel of Givingghat police station recovered the dead bodies along with the help of local people. The police could not arrest anyone until the report was written in the evening.
Givingghat Upazila Executive Officer Biswajit Kumar Pal visited the spot after receiving the news of the accident. In the meantime, he said, "We visited the site after hearing about the death of 4 workers including women. Law enforcement members have been instructed to take action against illegal stone lifting. "The order has been ordered to arrest the owners of the holes and bring them under the law," he said.
Gowainghat Circle ASP Motiar Rahman confirmed the fact that 4 workers were killed and said the body was recovered. The quarry owner is looking for the police, he said. He said legal action has been taken against the holes in the case of killing a young girl named Champa Rani Das, who had earlier buried soil. On Tuesday, the court sent a person named Sattar to jail in jail. Two police teams have been continuously campaigning to arrest other accused in the case, he said.
On the other hand, on November 13 last year, a young girl named Champa Das was killed in a hole in the ground. Yet there was no stone unturned rocks.
