INTRODUCING "STEEMIT NYSC INVATION" - AN INITIATIVE TO SENSITIZE NIGERIAN CORPS MEMBERS ABOUT SEEMIT, WHY ITS SPECIALLY PACKAGED AND AIMED TOWARDS CORPS MEMBERS.

"STEEMIT NYSC INVATION" is a project that is born of the willing eagerness to promote steemit in Nigeria. Its an initiative by 3 resilient steemian, @casweeney, @rasheedyazi and myself @happoculturation. It all started like a joke when we had a brief meeting in Kaduna, Nigeria. @casweeney posed a question to me, @happoculturation and @rasheedyazi asking us in a simple manner "what can we do to promote Steemit?". After a brief silence it was like a tap release, suggestions kept pouring out and this came to us like water in the desert.

NYSC

NYSC simply mean "National Youth Service Corps". Its an initiative by the federal Government of Nigeria to foster unity and oneness in socio-economy and political palance in the country. Its a mandatory and selfless service rendered to the nation by higher institution gradute citizens of Nigeria. Whereby people from different ethnic groups, cultural backgrounds and traditions all over the 36 states in Nigeria come together, live and learn about each other for 365 days.

You can relate better with what you know, being through and experienced. The initiators of this project are graduates from reputable universities in Nigeria and we have duely gone through the NYSC. We know the stress and pains involved in serving the Nation for a prolonged period of one year, so we can relate better.

We decided to direct this project to corps members to help them put their creativity to work and help them earn with the original product of their thinking and reasoning.

Its not so easy getting a job in Nigeria as more and more gradutes are produced yearly, making the labour market over populated and making unemployment inevitable in the society. But in the midst of unemployment some people still find a means of bypassing the unpalatable trend. Having this in mind we decided to introduce steemit to corps members so they can prepare their minds of the challenges out there and make use of steemit an avenue to improve themselves in writing creatively and earn from it.

We have gone ahead to cement our commitment in ensuring the success of this project by printing colourful and attractive fliers and hand bills, that carries vital informations that may futher assist any recipian at glimpse.

As a team we have to present ourselves worthy and approachable. So we have equally made branded steemit T-Shirts to complement our outing and properly package "Steemit" as an entity.
