Hello everyone, for the first time, I was able to meet one of my mentors here on steemit physically. He's Michaelcj, the founder of Steemnaira community and the brain behind Steemcamp event. It was held in Benin city, though small but a great deal.

I really learnt a lot from this meetup as we extensively discussed on how to promote steemit and getting everyone aware. I guess lots of Nigerians buy the idea of steeming.

Steemcamp initiative is gradually coming to a reality. Thanks to those who have contributed greatly to this project. Steemcamp is an initiative by steemnaira community to promote steem and help people enjoy the dividend of efficiently using the blockchain technology to harness their talents.

Steemcamp Audition/meetup in 6 (six) different cities is starting on the 13th of April, next month. It's fun when we steemians come physically to discuss issues concerning us and how to move the blockchain forward. Our relationship as steemians shouldn't only be through a distance (Internet).

You can look at the closest venue to you and do well to attend. It promises to be a mind blowing event as the meetup after audition will be awesome.

I was able to learn from @michaelcj that Steemit is what you want it to be. How you interpret it is What it gives you in return. Hence, find your niche. Make good relationship, broaden your horizon and stay open to learning new things that will be an asset to navigate growth. In turn, being a successful Steemian becomes inevitable. And steemnaira offers you this opportunity to do so.

It's gonna be the biggest Steemit event to hold in Nigeria.

It's a social and entertainment initiative designed to empower the attendants.

It's also aimed at facilitating financial freedom for young minds. It presents an opportunity for talented individuals in dancing, music, comedy, acting, etc to display their talents on the steem stage.
