Highlights of my weekend; National Meetup/opening of my stand 176

It was really a busy week, I had a lot of things to attend to including some family members to care for and I was busy with the opening of my food stand and the meetup.

National Meetup

National meetup was organised in my state of residence by steemkidss, steem4nigeria and @goodybest. It was the first ever steemit meetup I've attended, it was interesting as we get to meet other steemians and greet them it was a kind of meet and greet or will I say it created an avenue of getting to see steemians from different states coming together to party.

Due to my busy schedule I almost missed it but then I tried not to so i got a t-shirt for myself and my daughter and she was also excited to be among the steemians. I spent about 250 steem for I and my minichef to be present at the meetup. I represent my favourite brand fully, I feel joyful when I see myself among steemians to talk about steemit.

I will commend @xkool, @ninapenda, @ruthjoe and @bonaventure24 for their self sacrificing spirit. They travelled from a far places (city) to attend the meetup, I was so happy to see you people.

The meetup was encouraging to both the new users and the old users. During the question and answer session, steemians were given opportunity to express themselves and ask any questions about steemit, it was an interesting part because some users were satisfied with their answers gotten.

Inactive users were encouraged to continue making post, they were also encouraged.

The part that amazed me more was the fact that @bossj23 arranged surprise gift for users. It only takes a person who is generous to give out gift to others and seeing him give out this much gift to all those users in this hard time really shows that he is indeed generous.

Just as this bible portion says that a generous person prosper, may you forever be refreshed for refreshing others.

One gives generously and ends up with more; Another withholds what should be given, but he comes to poverty. The generous person will prosper, And whoever refreshes others will himself be refreshed. _proverbs 11:24,25

For the organisers/sponsors, it might have taken you time, planning and imagining how it will be but then it turns out successful, well done for your good work and planning, it was refreshing. I saw that happiness in you as the meetup goes well @ngoenyi well done for the good part you played, running round, fixing things, accomodating the steemians that visited, making them feel at home. It was great 👍

Grand opening of stand 176

Every December I usually showcase my skills in cooking. This year wasn't exempted. I've been preparing seriously for it and the time to open it was near. I spent more than 2500 steem to stock up the stand with foods, chewables and drinks, buy some necessary kitchen utensils and lots more.

My stand was opened successfully, I spent hours of sleepless nights to fix the koisk and buy things to stock up the koisk. I got people demands and everything was kept in place.

To all the steemians that stopped by this grand opening, I appreciate you so much it was successful and we are still on till 1 of January 2025.
