London Cryptocurrency Show update

Incredible line up of top projects, speakers and promotional activities at the event

With 2 weeks to go before we are going to be at the London Cryptocurrency Show, I wanted to give you the latest update on where we are at.

Not long ago, we put out a call to just about every major project on the platform, and offered them the chance to come and speak, and showcase their projects at the event.

I'm pleased to say that we have had a great response and the line-up is incredible and includes some of the biggest names in the STEEM blockchain ecosystem. In fact, I reckon this is about the biggest get-together of awesome projects since Steemfest and Anarcopulco.

UTOPIAN

Arguably one of the best known projects on STEEM, I have the decided pleasure to introduce @elear and @techslut onto the conference stage to talk about what @utopian-io is, and how it's helping the open source world.

STEEMPRESS

Bringing a bit of the blockchain to the mass market, I will also be introducing @howo and @fredrikaa who will talk about how SteemPress can assist Wordpress bloggers in monetizing their content and assisting them in gaining visibility globally.

E-STEEM

The first mobile app (for Iphone, Ipad and Android) for the STEEM blockchain! I'm going to get to meet @dunksky and (all being well) the legendary @good-karma. Excited about that? I'm having trouble containing myself.

STACH

Doing some of the most incredible work I can imagine, the tireless @ejemai, founder of the STACH (Steem Accelerator Hubs) will be talking about how STEEM is changing lives in Nigeria and beyond. I personally can't wait to meet this guy in person, because basically as a humanitarian organiser, he's a bloody hero of mine!

ALLAS YUMMY FOOD

She's almost as beautiful as me.... I will also be pleased to present @allasyummyfood to the show. Since speaking at Steemfest last year, she's gone on to prove that with consistency and tenacity, anyone can build a great microbusiness on the blockchain!

And of course, the #promo-steem team....I will be opening with a short talk about the STEEM blockchain at the start of the day on the conference stage, and introducing the project speakers listed above.

Along with @starkerz, I will also be moderating on the main auditorium stage for some of the live question and answer sessions.

You can also find us (with the legendary @stephenkendal) on the SteemSTAND throughout the day, and we will be presenting mini-talks on the vision for the future of business on the blockchain.

Help and support from the community

We will be joined by some other notable Steemians who have all promised to come and give up some of their time to help us on the stand, to capture in film, to photograph and generally to lend a hand where they can. I'm looking at people like @colossus, @cryptocurator, @ashtv, @rod.crisafulli, @redrica, @gisi, @dannyshine and loads of others (I'm sorry to those I forgot to mention....comment and I'll add you here!)

This is going to be a serious event, showcasing the STEEM blockchain and some of the awesome projects on the platform.

How to help us, even if you can't be there

So, we want everyone to understand that us being at this show is a really huge deal. It's probably the biggest public crypto event that STEEM has been well represented at, and it's cost a small fortune to put on. Some of the speakers are coming from around the world to present, and we have put a great deal of time, effort and money into this project, and we need your support.

Here's how you can help, even if you can't attend:

1. Take to your other social media accounts and talk about The London Cryptocurrency Show. Please include links to their website https://londoncryptocurrencyshow.com/

2. If you're on linkedIn, push out to your UK based business followers about show.

3. Write a post about the show. Include some of the info from this post. Resteem others posts about it. Let's make a big noise, so much so that nobody can say the STEEM community didn't do everything possible to promote it! Remember to alt tag your images (if you don't know how to do this, see here)

4. Reserve yourself a ticket if you can go. You can get a free ticket for the day here

5. Visit the blog posts of all the great presenters who are coming, and give them some love. Some of these guys are spending a shedload of money to get here, let alone the dicking about you have to do with the British Government to get into the country these days.

6. Upvote and resteem this post. Doing this helps us to recover some of our costs (and there are a lot!).
