What You're About To Do Cannot End Well

We have all ben there. Standing on the edge, ready to jump off the cliff.
When your young and everthing is new the excitement overides common sense. All you can think about is the rush you feel when you jump. Flying through the air you feel liberated and free.
You finally did something just because you wanted too. Your parents would not approve, they told you not to jump off the cliff, not even if all your friends did it. As your racing towards the water your not thinking about what you were told. Nor are you thinking about that time you promised your parents you would never do it.
Splash ... Damn the water is colder than you thought it would be and the force you hit the water at has lodged your bikini bottom in a way that makes you think a trip to the OBGYN is the only way your getting it out. Swim to the surface you can't hold your breath much longer but you make it hhhaaa....Air . That was incredible you wonder why did my parents make such a big deal outta that, that was nothing. About that time you notice that your top is gone.
Your friends on the rocks cheering you on you swim to the side trying to stay covered. You try to pull yourself onto a rock but it's very slippery . You have no choice but to reach out your hands and your friends pull you up while everyone laughs histarically at your lack of a top . The cold water you were just in gave them that mch more to talk about at school monday.
Now your embarressed and you would rather drop out then go to school on Monday. To make things worse your little brother heard all about it and he made sure your parents did to. So you get off the phone with the guy who just broke up with you because he does not want to hear about how everyone at school has seen his girlfriends boobs. How did everyone at school know? Do you really think there wete no pictures taken? They were posted on everyones facebook page before you even got home.
Now that your grounded and afraid to talk to anyone you start to think. You get made at your brother for telling. Your x boy friend will forever be a douch bag in your mind. It's not like you were just going around showing off your boobs. Your parents.... can't they see you are suffering enough ? They don't have a clue what your going through. We all make mistakes after all.
Then it hits you. Was it a mistake ? It's not like you accidentally fell off a cliff. You did exactlly what you set out to do when left the house this morning. You had been planing to jump off that cliff all week. You new your parents trusted you. You new the promise you made them.
Did you tell yourself that they just worry to much about you getting hurt. They treat you like a little kid. Always underestimating you. You know your a strong swimmer. You new you would be okay.
I am sure parents worry abou your safety. I am also sure that they know things that you could not possibly know. Smart as you are you can't be prepaired for the things you don't know could hurt you.
Your mom was once a kid and there is a good chance she was a popular kid. I'm sure she is aware of the swimsuit malfunction, the slippery rock, the fact that everyone has a camera, and it's illegal to jump from the cliffs. I'm sure she also worries about a bunch of teen age boys around her daughter in a bikini.
You see as you gain life experience you expect the water to be cold you know if you don't cross your legs you will get an atomic wedgie and it becomes a reflex to khold onto your top.
All of this heart ach could of been ovoided had you kept your promise.
That's not the worst part. Because of your decision to do something just because you wanted too . You had a great time and felt amazing for a few minutes. What have you lost ? You lost your peace of mind at school everyone has seen you half naked. You lost your boyfriend not to mention the all the crap he is going to have to hear about your boobs for ever. Your brother is put in a position where he will probably have to fight some one before hestops hearing about it. Most of all your parents can no longer trust you.
So look before you leep there is hidden danger in every decision we make . Things can go wrong when you do everything right. Don't fool yourself thinking a bad decsion can will have a good outcome.
