Congrat! You did a great job, especially for the 1st tone [mā],the fourth tone [mà] and the neutral tone [ma]. you have a good pronounciation of [mā] [mā]/[mà]/[ma], which means mother / scold/ question particle. that's clear.
My suggestion is the transition from [mà] to [má] and from [mà] to [mǎ], it is better to slow down the transition. it the same logic in English, when a verb is followed by a noun, there is a very short pause between them. but don't worry, even for native chinese, the transition is also very hard lol
In some way, chinese tone is similar to the flow of music. It is an emotional language. If you have other questions, please tell me and I would love to share my experience. Keep practicing and steem on!
Thank you for the advices starrouge shifu! I'll keep practicing listening so the transitions, and the second and third tone, can become more natural.
