Visit my Profile vs Being Proactive selling your Experience / Skills / Abilities
No matter how many times you tell Job Seekers to stop asking for visits to their profiles, they don't care or understand.
Recruiters and Headhunters are busy people. They don't have time ⌚. Job Seekers rather than presenting themselves, pretend you go to their profiles and calculate if there is any FIT. They are so lazy that they are unable to self evaluate. Others with 10 years in the market don't even know who they are...
And then come to saying they don't find jobs or that the market rejects them or that LinkedIn doesn't work.
I, long time ago, took this variable as an indicator of how proactive they are. I always challenge people to tell me who they are, what what they want and where are heading. I never allow people to tell me their reasons, history or past unless I explicitly ask for that information.
