There's always a way around a "bad" situation
It's part of our lives to find ourselves entangled in an unconvenient situation. Some last a couple hours, some last for months, some last for years, but independently of how long it lasts, the main focus is trying to get out of it.
But sometimes we don't know how, or it might seem just too much for us to handle. I'm going to give some advice that helped me over the years with these types of things.
Break down the problem into smaller pieces
Sometimes we look at a problem so objectively that we forget to see how divisible it is. The situation itself might look huge and unresolvable but once we try to narrow it down to a list of little problems that are making it up, it might look less imposing.
An example of this
Assuming the problem is poor performance at school, we can ask ourselves questions like:
-Which subjects do i need more help with?
-Why don't I understand x?
-Should i be more focused in classes?
Get opinions from other people
I can't count the times where i had a problem with something and an exterior persepective helped me amazingly. Sometimes we're so stuck with an idea to a solution that we forget about the big picture of possibilities around us.
There's no shame in asking for help, so if you're able to, its a big advantage and it doesn't cost anything (unless we're talking about professional help).
Take your time
Surely you will want to resolve the situation as fast as possible, but sometimes it takes time to get answers. Whenever you find yourself completely tired of looking for new and innovative solutions, try to put it aside for how long you think is right.
This is, however, hypocritical in terms of what i said in the beggining, and i admit that. Each case has its own parameters, and we have to try and approach the situation in different ways.
