Price prediction using data from previous crypto bubbles.
To effectively predict the future price of Steem we need to understand the crypto bubble "anatomy" and we are going to do this by examining Expanse price history which is given below:
Expanse is a crypto currency which went up in price by something like 4000% in a single day ! And of course, the next day it dropped a lot. Now let`s look at the Steem price history:
You can clearly see similarities! The same drop can be expected to happen to Steem (actually the drop is happening at the moment of writing this). The price will go down but it does not mean that the growth will cease, you can clearly see how the price of Exp went up again and even exceeded it`s all time high and stayed at that mark for some time. Needless to say, Steem is a way better project than Expanse which leads me to believe Steem won`t stop where Exp stopped but go even higher as the user base and with it the demand for Steem gets bigger and bigger.
So my advice would be not to sell Steem but buy more when it is cheap. Oh and most important one, POWER UP!!!
Christmas will probably be when it is highest. But it will also continue to grow as all these new people coming in over the past few days start getting paid, and talking about it to their friends and family. Right now its really about getting people in the door. That way there are people getting paid, that can then turn around and create STEEM shops and STEEM websites, etc. that is where the stable growth will come from. Also, there are a bunch of spiteful Litecoin users and Ripple users and DAO users, etc that have STEEM, so they will dump just out of spite. But then once actual STEEM users buy up all their coins, it will be much more stable.
And at some point some major corporation, or bank, or government, or something is going to invest, and that will create the real spikes. This was just day 2 of being over $1, headed in to day 3. Anyone that says this drop is horrible when it's been like 6 hours, isn't paying attention at all, or just has a short attention span.

After you Power Up, start voting on all the posts you think are going to make it to the top of the Trending page. The higher it goes, the more you get paid. And someone said that if you wait 15 minutes, or 30 minutes before voting on it it pays out more. I'm not sure though. I just know that when you have STEEM Power and you vote you get paid for the posts that get high ranks. Also vote on comments.
well i know that. what i don't know is if i earn interest just by powering up or i need to "deposit". and i don't vote posts that i think are going to make it to the top, i vote posts that i want to make it to the top. I want to influence and reward good stuff, not pay to the circlejerk. For example, this was a cool post and i upvoted you. hope you make it to the top too but anyway, my vote of confidence was given :)
