Bernie Would Have Won: Our President in Exile

So, we had the People's Summit. (I posted the video of Bernie's very inspiring speech on Facebook. Can we repost videos , here?)

I've seen mixed reviews from my just under 5000 Facebook friends. They tend to fall into three categories: 1) Love, love, love and respect Bernie and everything he does 2) Hate, hate, hate Bernie the Sheepdog and everything he does, and 3) My GOD we're so divided and we're screwed (as usual).

My take falls divided between 1) and 3). I will always love and respect Bernie, though I reserve the right to disagree with him. He's the father of the New Revolution. He's MY President, and in a fair election, he would definitely have been all of ours. President Sanders is the reason so many of us are wide awake to the death of our democracy, now, and the fact that we are living under an oligarchy. As he said at the People's Summit, Trump didn't win the election, the Democrats LOST IT.

So -- we got Trump because of a corporate coup. Many people around here don't even know who President Sanders is. (SC, as I said. 40% have no access to the internet. It's pitiful, and just the way the oligarchs want it.)

I know Bernie had his reasons for not fighting the election fraud, but I don't think we know all of them. He had plenty that we do know. He saw the Trump train coming, and one thing that I noticed that a lot of people didn't, the GOP was well placed to commit much of the skullduggery against him that the DNC is now taking the heat for from progressives. The DNC is just as guilty, though, as they admitted in court. #DNCFraudLawsuit

The point is, the GOP did NOT want to run against Bernie, and the DNC had their queen already picked out and coronated before the campaign even started. They both had guns trained to take out our man.

So Bernie kept on with his marathon run, directly between the two. Maybe with a little Divine intervention, they'll take each other out with their cheating and lying. He'll just keep keeping on, telling the truth and staying focused on his mission: easing the suffering of the working poor, the sick, the elderly, the disadvantaged, and all of the denizens of our ailing planet.

My hope, since the DNC through the MSM propaganda machine is still tossing lies out like poisoned candy to toddlers, is that he will finally go with #DraftBernie. Too many people have lost trust in the Democratic Party, which is anything but democratic.

If he stays though, it's because he's making progress taking over the captain's wheel, and I think he has a good view from where he is. He'll know when it's time to jump ship. President Bernie Sanders is NOT buying any first class seats on the Titanic.
