We have Sauli for President!

The finnish presidential election went well. Sauli Niinistö received 62.7 % of the votes in the first round, and with these votes he was chosen again for a term of six years. He had support from all the political parties. Obviously he has done a good job in the past 6 years. In his New Year's speech he always wishes God's Blessing to the nation.
Sauli is well respected in foreign affairs. He is on very good terms with all major world leaders. Most of his opponents have never even been close to shaking hands with the presidents of USA, Russia or China. Sauli Niinisto speaks good english and he gets along fine with the swedish language also. Sauli is known for his good sense of humour and witty remarks.
His popularity has been aided a little by his dog Lenny. Check out the smirk on this dog's face!

In December of 2014, Sauli and his two son's were in Thailand at the time of the huge tsunami. Sauli had gone earlier to the beach to read a book and had noticed that the water had disappeared from the beach and figured it would come back big and strong. Him and his boys ran and climbed a utility pole and were saved.
Sauli's first wife, mother of his two sons died tragically many years ago. He married Jenni Haukio in January of 2009.
In Finland we have a little bit of a monarchy feeling now as Jenni is expecting her first child in February 2018.
