I get asked quite often why there is nothing in the international news. I think an incident this week will shed a bit of light. A reporter from Reuters was in the centre of the action with his equipment. His equipment was confiscated, he was roughed up and was escorted to the border. No one knows what happened to him after. They have an iron first control about what is getting out. Why the don't block FB and Whatsapp...I don't know.
If they didn't need the communications themselves, they would shut it down.
:(That is true! I am hoping he putting that communication to good use...he needs to find a new place to live. He will be turfed one way or another. The people have had enough...
