These are not the fouls you are looking for...
Hi
I watch a bit of football, namely the English Premier League. There are numerous aspects to the sport, production of the league, and of course, Man United.
I just finished watching Aston Villa vs Newcastle. The result ended in a 2-0 win to the home team Aston Villa.
During the match, Jack Grealish got into a tackle, and during the afters while his opponent was on the ground, seemed to have lashed out a bit using his elbow/arm to agressively push again his opponents head.
I have seen red cards for less, and with the newly appointed Video Assistant Ref in the world, I was fully expecting a review.
To make the moment a bit more hightened, both match commentators made comment of the incident and waited for the reply. Of course, when it wasnt shown, the moved on and never made mention of it again.
A few moments after the incident, the broadcast director (no live spectators), began to show a reply of the foul. The initial tackle played through and a second before what I described happened was about to be witnessed the reply ends and no one sees a reply of what I thought was a yellow card, if not at least a stern talking to.
It seems a couple of other guys who watched the game agree...

Additionally, I recall there was a questionable off side during a passage of play which was ignored, as well as the replay not even shown.
I love the sport and the league, especially this season as it is incredibly competitive, and I am concerned about the long arm of the law overreaching a tad at the moment.
The power they have with VAR, and at the minute with no fans in the stadium, the perspectives, some outcomes have been affected I believe.
I am sat here now listening and watching to the post match discussions, no one is mentioning the incident at all.
Thought I would share, would be great to know if anyone else saw that and what you thought of it?
