Pre and Primary School Education

As we know 80% to 87% pre & primary school education passed by the Pakistani children. Pre-school education system normally designed for 3-5 year old kids. There are three stages of pre-school.

  1. Play group
  2. Nursery
  3. KG (Kindergarten) or prep

Play group is the very first class for Pakistani children after the one year education they move to Nursery class, where they have to spend one year education duration again to move on next KG class.
After KG class students directly enrolled in primary school where 1-5 grades (1st class to 5th class). Primary school is usually single-sex-education, but in urban cities co-education will follow at this level. General subjects for pre & primary school are as follow:

  1. Arts
  2. Mathematics
  3. General science
  4. Computer science and ICT
  5. Literature(Urdu, English)
  6. Social study
  7. Islamic study

Drama studies, music and physical education are also offered by schools. Home economics is also offering by schools that is actually for female students, whereas topics related to astronomy, environmental management and psychology are frequently included in the textbooks of general science. Sometimes archaeology and anthropology are extensively taught in textbooks of social studies. Provincial and regional languages will follow in these stages like, Punjabi, Pashto and Sindhi. Turkish, Arabic, Persian, French and Chinese also the part of pre and primary schools, because Pakistan has a good relation with these country that follow such types of languages.
According to 2009 survey Pakistan pre and primary attendance is 60%, but it will be 90% according to the world education rule. Why this result, because there are some issue of education system as I have mentioned in my first post.
Another reason is public expenditure that is approximately 2.2% GNP in recent years. As we know most expenditures are paid to higher education but not to pre and primary schools. So that why students have less facilities in school that discourage students rather to encourage them.
No doubt these issues can be reduced to touch the world education rule (90%). If government look to these meters like honesty with job (teaching), technical education and right use of funds etc.

my opinion far more less than the amount required for the research to know the psychology of the subject (Pakistani Children). Then another drawback of our primary education system is that of different school system
