Open Your Eyes

Power Prayer

Father, in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, I thank You for who You are and all that You have done in my life. Thank You for opening my spiritual eyes to see the reality of Jesus in my life. I ask that my loved ones are illuminated by Your truth and transformed by the power of Your love. I declare that I walk in supernatural understanding and enlightenment in every area of my life. All spiritual blindness, darkness, and confusion must leave my life right now in Jesus’ name! Your Word is a “lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path” (Psalm 119:105); therefore, I declare that the Word of God enlightens my decisions, my thinking, my family, and my finances. Every area in my life is blessed because of the light of Your Word shining in and through it. My future and destiny are brighter because of Your truth. I declare that I will no longer yield to deception, falsehood, or wickedness in any area of my life. Jesus, I declare that You are the Lord of my life. I long to follow You and be Your disciple. I declare that, from this day forward, I will see You in the way the Word of God reveals You. My mind is opened and my soul is aroused to the revelation of Jesus Christ. Amen!

2.HEARING THE HOLY SPIRIT

As the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: when your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years. Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do always err in their heart; and they have not known my ways. (Hebrews 3:7–10 KJV)

Power Prayer

Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for who You are and all that You have done. I desire, in the name of Jesus Christ, that I have intimacy with the Holy Spirit. I choose to have a personal relationship with You through Your Spirit. I hear the voice of the Holy Spirit on a consistent basis. I receive strategic direction from the Holy Spirit as it relates to my finances, relationships, choices, occupation, calling, witnessing, and every other area in my life. I love to hear the voice of the Spirit. Lord, I thank You for divine clarity in every area of my life. I declare that there is no more confusion in my mind or spirit, because the water of the Word cleanses my soul. Just like a radio is tuned to a station and receives that particular transmission, I am tuned in to heaven’s frequency and I receive divine insight, wisdom, and revelation in Jesus’ name. I decree that every voice in my life that is not the voice of the Holy Spirit is silenced right now in Jesus’ name! Amen.

3.MIND RENEWAL

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (Romans 12:1–2 KJV)

Our mind is one of the most important components of our Christian experience. The Bible says plainly, “For as [a man] thinketh in his heart, so is he” (Proverbs 23:7). I like to rephrase that to, “What you set your mind on, you will ultimately manifest.”Many believers love God with all their hearts, but they are unable to manifest the abundant life that Christ gave them, because they have not understood the importance and significance of mind renewal.

Power Prayer

Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for Your everlasting goodness toward me. Your Word declares, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17). I declare that I am a new creation in Christ; old things have passed away, and I have become brand new. I am no longer controlled or manipulated by my past sins, failures, and iniquities, but I have been made clean by the atoning blood of Jesus Christ. By faith I possess the mind of Christ! I submit my thought life to the Word of God and declare that I think and reason like Jesus. I command any and all mind-binding spirits to leave me now in Jesus’ name. My heart is receptive to Your truth, and Your Word renews my mind. The more I think on godly things, the more I am changed into the image and character of Jesus Christ. I declare that the life of almighty God is made manifest in and through me daily. I declare that the peace of God that passes all understanding rules my heart and mind in the name of Jesus. Amen!

4.THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB

Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you. (1 Peter 1:18–20 KJV)

The blood of Jesus Christ is more powerful than anything you have ever imagined. It was the only ransom worthy of redeeming us. No matter what you are dealing with in your life, you must recognize that the blood of Jesus Christ is more than able to redeem, heal, deliver, and cleanse you. There is power in the blood!

Power Prayer

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I thank You for the blood of Jesus. Through Your shed blood, I have been redeemed from the curse of the law of sin and death. According to Galatians 3:13–14, You became a curse for me and hung on the tree so that I might receive the blessing of Abraham. Thank You, Jesus, for fulfilling Yom Kippur on my behalf. The Word of God declares that the life is in the blood. You exchanged Your life for mine and paid my ransom. I receive the blood sacrifice that You made for me, and I know that through You I am completely clean and justified. I declare that the blood of Jesus Christ neutralizes every curse. I declare that the blood of Jesus Christ is the title deed for my healing, deliverance, and breakthrough. I serve notice to the kingdom of darkness that the blood of Jesus is against it! The enemy can no longer condemn, accuse, or slander my name because my sins are under the blood of Jesus. Thank You, Lord, for Your mighty power working in and through my life. Just as the blood of bulls and goats had power under the old covenant to atone and bring restoration, so Your blood, as the ultimate payment, has the power to completely restore my total self. The blood of Jesus covers me in every area of my life. Amen!

5.NO MORE FEAR

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7 KJV)

Fear comes in many forms. Many people are afraid of failure, others are fearful of being alone, and others still are fearful of death. No matter what fear has attempted to attach itself to your life, you must understand that God has not given you a spirit of fear; instead, He has equipped you with power, love, and a sound mind.

Power Prayer

Heavenly Father, I thank You for who You are and all that You have done in my life. Your Word is the final authority in my life, and Your Word says that You have not given me a spirit of fear, but of power and love, and of a sound mind. I declare that I am fearless in Jesus’ name. I will not succumb to fear, cowardice, terror, or intimidation. I possess the mind of Christ, and Christ never operated in a victim mentality; therefore, I walk in bold faith and confidence in every area of my life. I am not a victim; I am a victor in Christ! Fear has no place is my thoughts or emotions in the name of Jesus. The Word of God declares, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17). I am a hearer of the Word of God, therefore; I choose great faith. Faith is the revelation of God’s Word in action; therefore, I am a doer of Your Word and not just a hearer. No weapon formed against me shall prosper, including fear, worry, or dread. I lift up the shield of faith and neutralize every fiery dart of fear and timidity in the name of Jesus. I declare that all irrational thoughts and phobias must leave me now in Jesus’ name. I have no fear because the Lord is the strength of my life and my salvation.

6.THE JOY OF THE LORD

The Joy of the Lord
Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength. (Nehemiah 8:10 KJV)

When we have joy, we can praise God in the midst of trouble. No matter what evil report comes our way, those who know their God and His Word can rejoice always. Happiness is temporary, but joy is a consequence of abiding in Christ. Joy is the fruit of our communion and fellowship with the Holy Spirit.

So don’t be discouraged! Don’t fear! No matter what happens to you today, remember that the joy of the Lord is your strength!

Power Prayer

Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for who You are and all that You have done in my life. Father, I thank You for Your goodness, which You have shown toward me. I know that You are good and Your mercy endures forever. I declare that the joy of the Lord is my strength. I declare that I possess never-ending, overflowing, abounding joy in every area of my life. I declare that my heart overflows with gladness. I declare that the revelation of Your goodness overwhelms me. I will never complain about the circumstances of my life, because You have been too good to me. I choose to rejoice in the Lord always, and in every situation, because Jesus is the Lord of the entire universe. I will never fear nor be dismayed, because Jesus Christ is the Lord of every small annoyance and every catastrophic event. I declare that the joy of the Lord is my portion in the name of Jesus. Amen!
